Consultation regarding a proposal to convert to academy status and
join the Honeycomb Education Trust.
On Tuesday 5th March 2024, the consultation document attached below was sent to our parents / carers in order to seek their views on a proposal for Bolshaw Primary School to convert to academy status and join the Honeycomb Education Trust.
Our reasons for doing so, and the long-term benefits we believe this will bring to the pupils, families and staff of the school, are explored within the consulation letter and FAQ document.
On Thursday 14th March 2024 we held a face to face consultation for our parent / carer community. Please also find attached the presentation given by our Governing Board that evening.
Our online and face to face consultations have provided an opportunity to ask questions regarding the proposal, and our Governing Board are collating responses that will be added to this website over the forthcoming weeks. Further additional information will be provided throughout the next few months to update all families and our wider school community on devlopments as a part of this process.
